Welcome to the Running Pace Calculator

Whether you're training for a marathon, a 10K, or just looking to improve your pacing, this calculator will help you plan your runs with confidence. Use it to determine your pace, predict your finish time, and even generate race splits to keep you on track.

How to Use This Tool

  1. Select Your Unit: Choose between miles or kilometres, depending on how you prefer to measure your runs.

  2. Choose Your Distance: Pick a standard race distance, or select “Other” to enter a custom distance.

  3. Enter Your Time Goal: If you have a target finish time, input it in the hours, minutes, and seconds fields. This will calculate your required pace.

  4. Calculate Your Pace: Click "Calculate Pace" to see the pace you need to maintain to hit your goal.

  5. Predict Your Finish Time: If you know your expected pace but aren’t sure what time you’ll finish in, enter your pace and click "Predict Time" to see your estimated race time.

  6. View Your Race Splits: After calculating, you’ll see splits for key markers throughout your race to help you pace yourself effectively.

  7. Reset and Start Over: Click "Reset" to clear all fields and begin again.
